Byrsa Bistro, the well-loved Mediterranean BYOB in Kennett Square, has moved to Glen Mills (128 Glen Mills Road). It’s new home is located at Magon Legacy Estates, a picturesque property situated next to the historic Glen Mills Train Station.
Byrsa will remain a BYOB and will continue to offer all of the dishes its customers have come to love, including hummus, grilled calamari and toulouse cassoulet. Byrsa also now has a separate cafe, Cafe Magon, featuring a light menu consisting of gourmet pizzas, salads and soups along with other offerings reminiscent of a French creperie.
Taking its place in its former Kennett Square spot is La Madera Bistro, a rustic BYOB, on the southeast corner of Union and State streets (102 E. State St.). The menu is an eclectic mix of entrees from the Mediterranean Basin with a nod to Latin America. Check out the prix fixe menu, offered on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sundays. For just $35, guests can choose an appetizer, entree and petite dessert.
