Several years ago, when Jennifer Robinson was struck by a car, leaving her with both physical and brain injuries, she didn’t give up. Instead, she decided to start a new career helping others.
For nearly 15 years, the Bala Cynwyd resident practiced law, but then she wanted to go in a different direction. The realization that the vast majority of her contacts were in law helped inspire her idea to start her own company, Purposeful Networking. Through that platform, Robinson helps people connect.
Networking, not surprisingly, made her business thrive. Robinson sought out other groups, eventually joining FemCity Philadelphia. “I soon realized that networking was what drove my own success. I thought that I could help others do the same with their businesses,” she says.
Today, Robinson is the president of FemCity Philadelphia and instills confidence in professional women. “We really try to support other women and have a place where women can feel confident and comfortable networking and growing professionally and personally and just being the best versions of themselves,” she says.
