Jen Groover's Empowered Jewelry Line Available at the Hamels Foundation's Retail Store

PLUS: Ardmore’s Jacques Ferber Furs relocates to Wayne’s Eagle Village Shops.

Power Play

At the recent grand opening of the Hamels Foundation’s retail shop and offices in Bryn Mawr, amid all the Cole Hamels memorabilia and T-shirts, I spied Jen Groover’s line of Empowered jewelry. The Media native has expanded her Butler Bag line into a lifestyle brand and is now a motivational speaker. Her book, What If? & Why Not?, inspired the jewelry and its messages. “I wanted it to be a symbol to women, and to act as a reminder to stay strong and think positively,” says Groover.

Big Move

After 80 years in Ardmore, Jacques Ferber Furs has relocated to Eagle Village Shops in Wayne. Along with their full line of furs, minks and shearlings, Ferber still offers complete furrier services, including storage and repair. “Our inventory goes well beyond furs,” says Ferber. “We’ve been carrying items for all seasons for years.” Think leather jackets, lightweight down jackets, leather totes and more.
