Favorite designers: Any and all things Italian: Armani for his classics, Versace for the extravagance, and Dolce & Gabbana for their femininity. Some inspire me more than others at certain times of each season, and it depends on the category.
Fall trends she’s looking forward to: I’m obsessed with all-over knitwear, because it’s like wearing your favorite big, comfy sweater all the time.
She’s an: Accessories person, definitely. If you keep a closet full of basics, you can always add seasonal accessories and keep your look updated without spending a fortune.
Style icon: Sophia Loren, because she’s confident, talented and comfortable with her femininity. Her look is full of
tasteful accessories, form-fitting dresses, and an easy and innate sense of Italian style.
Personal style: Standing out while blending in.
Go-to casual outfit for a Saturday out: I’m a bit of a hippie at heart, so jeans and a peasant top. Although I was very young in the ’60s, it just proves that I was influenced by style at a young age.
Go-to outfit for a Saturday night out: Depends on the venue—a local dive or a five-star restaurant. I love both, by the way. What I think is more important than what I wear is that I’m in sync with what my husband is wearing. Guys just need advice most times. You don’t want to put on your sexy little black dress and have him show up in jeans.
Favorite splurges: I really don’t splurge because I do a lot of shopping for myself at vintage stores and resale shops. I love the idea of sustainability, especially when it comes to clothing.
