The Tapestry Collection by Hilton is making its debut in Conshohocken with the recently opened Hotel West and Main, a six-story hotel boasting 127 guest rooms, two elevated dining options and plenty of event space.
Located in the historic Washington Fire Company, the space has been reimagined to create a unique atmosphere with nods to the building’s rich history. Keystone Development and Investment, Concord Hospitality and Hilton joined forces to bring this one-of-a-kind project to life.
Hotel West and Main is not intended solely for travelers passing through the Philadelphia suburbs. The establishment hopes to provide locals with a hotspot they can frequent for everything from morning coffee to fine dining.
“From an upscale dinner to a casual meetup with friends, Hotel West and Main is your answer for almost any experience,” says general manager Josh Davalos. “We have created a hospitality and dining hub that both locals and hotel guests can enjoy.”
Step inside the hotel, and you’ll instantly notice revamped elements full of historic charm. Sunlight pours into the lobby through the firehouse’s original 16-foot windows, former firefighters’ lockers display the market area’s locally sourced options for sale and a restored fireman’s pole extends through all six floors of the hotel.
Just off the lobby, guests and residents alike can enjoy an all-day café, serving everything from crab cake benedict in the morning to tuna poke bowl in the evening. Coined the 1874 Social in honor of the year the fire company was founded, this trendy spot is perfect for enjoying a quick morning coffee or catching up with friends over an expansive beverage list and aperitif menu after work.
Head upstairs to find the Hook and Ladder Sky Bar and Kitchen, where you’ll have a difficult time choosing just one dish from the extensive menu of chop house and sushi selections. Combined with the impressive ambience, the eatery’s menu ensures diners are in for a treat as they savor inspired dishes from executive chef Zack Wannawong.
“I am excited to bring my sushi and chop experience to the table in Conshohocken,” says Wannawong. “This flavorful, fresh and unique menu provides offerings that the neighborhood has not yet seen before.”
Plan a stay at the hotel to enjoy premier amenities and thoughtful décor put together by the Interior Image Group. With both indoor and outdoor spaces, Hotel West and Main is the perfect location for any upcoming event.
