After a rocky start, the Saint James is finally finding its groove with guests, who can’t seem to resist the shareable rock shrimp on crispy lettuce cups. The shrimp is tossed with a bit of spicy aioli, which counters the sweetness of the corn. “We have beautiful Jersey corn coming in now, and we use some micro basil, too,” says chef/owner Michael Schulson. “People are looking for really good food cooked properly and very seasonal. That’s what we do here.” $12.
