Piled high with a half pound of corned beef made in-house daily and topped with made-from-scratch coleslaw and Russian dressing, the Gantzer Knaker gets its soft backbone from rye bread that’s delivered twice daily. How many do they sell a day? “It’s a huge amount, we’ll just leave it at that,” chuckles Hymie’s manager Lenny Silow. “It’s a really great-looking sandwich. It almost looks too good to eat.” $9.95.
