For almost four years, Monica Miraglilo has made believers out of countless customers who were once skeptical of how much impact a simple accessory can make. Her Fill-a-Pillow boutique specializes in everything from throw styles to comfy dog-bed additions, in fabrics from names like Robert Allen, Beacon Hill and Duralee.
These days, Miraglilo is offering more than just pillows. “I decided to expand my services into custom headboards, bedding, window treatments and upholstery,” she says. “Customers may not have the budget to makeover their entire house, but they can make small changes that make a dramatic impact in any room.”
Changes like reupholstering a sofa, adding new window treatments, or sprucing up the boudoir. “The master bedroom is a retreat,” she says. “People want it to be sophisticated and relaxing.”
