The InGrid Digital Home Protection system is both affordable and portable, making it an attractive option for renters and homeowners alike. Each InGrid kit comes with easy step-by-step instructions for self-installation, which should take no more than 90 minutes. The system maintains constant communication through a two-way broadband connection and is monitored by Guardian Protection Services, the world’s largest privately held security company.
Unlike a traditional home security system, InGrid doesn’t have a master control panel, making it impossible for an intruder to defeat. Instead, it puts home protection at the owner’s fingertips, with a cordless telephone handset and keypad that controls the system from anywhere inside or around the home; it also has a panic button that automatically alerts authorities. The wireless sensors that protect doors and windows can also be used for non-emergency monitoring (think jewelry boxes).
