>>  HOMAGE TO OAKIE: The Tredyffrin Historic Preservation Trust celebrates the 10th anniversary of its Historic House Tour on Sept. 27 by spotlighting iconic Main Line architect R. Brognard Okie, best known for his Colonial Revival style. Among the six homes on the list for the self-guided tour: Okie’s 18th-century Hillside Farm residence in Berwyn. “The featured properties are prime examples of Okie’s architectural legacy, as well as the character of individual neighborhoods,” says Pattye Benson, Trust president and chair of the annual house tour.

Along with six private residences, the tour also features Okie’s Great Valley Mill and St. Peter’s Church, also in Great Valley. The event is the primary fundraiser for Tredyffrin Historic Preservation Trust. Proceeds benefit the Jones Log Barn rebuilding project in Chesterbrook. Visit www.tredyffrinhistory.org
