Honeygrow, a honey bar, stir fry, smoothie and salad fast-casual restaurant, opened its third outpost on June 15 at 230 Radnor Chester Road, Radnor.

Honeygrow is a play on the words “honest eating + growing local”—a concept that co-founder Justin Rosenberg developed when he grew tired of eating non-colorful meals and wanted to utilize high-quality ingredients to create simple, wholesome fare. The first honeygrow opened in 2012.

With a focus on using only the freshest, local ingredients, honeygrow makes all of its salad dressings and stir fry sauces in house, and each menu item is prepared to order. The staff uses innovative touch screen technology at kiosks, allowing guests to self-tailor their orders based on personal preferences and dietary needs.

The flexible menu allows diners to choose from suggested items or build their own creations with a myriad of local vegetables, fruits, proteins, cheeses and homemade sauces and dressings.

The design of the Radnor location incorporates reclaimed white pine, chairs made from recycled Coca-Cola bottles (111 bottles per chair!) and stools made by Philadelphia’s Fab Dubrunfaut Woodworking.

The store is open seven days a week from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. Other locations include 110 S. 16th Street in Philadelphia and 169 E. City Avenue in Bala Cynwyd and they are slated to open another location in Cherry Hill by the end of the year. Beyond that they are looking for more space in Center City, University City and New York City. Learn more at www.honeygrow.com.
