Heroes walk the halls of hospitals. Many are patients with miraculous stories of strength and courage, but we went in search of another type of hero. Fielding nominations from healthcare systems throughout the region, we came across stunning examples of sacrifice and caretaking. From Kenya to Chester, these men and women offer their expertise to those who need it most in unique and inspirational ways.
