Keller Williams’ Greg Basile Shares His Top Picks Around the Main Line

The chief growth officer at Keller Williams Devon-Wayne sounds off on his favorite ice cream and local music spots.

1. Gryphon Cafe.

Owner Rich Mattis does a great job making this a casual yet fun place to meet clients or catch up with friends over coffee and a treat. 105 W. Lancaster Ave., Wayne, (610) 688-1988.

2. Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream.

My favorite flavor? That’s a difficult choice—maybe black raspberry. But the Handel Pops (ice cream dipped in gourmet chocolate on a stick) are what I really love. 573 E. Lancaster Ave., Berwyn, (610) 640-1606.

3. 118 North.

This is the best place to jam to some local music and party with friends. Owner Ken Kearns did a great job with this location, and the food is fantastic. 118 N. Wayne Ave., Wayne, (610) 971-2628.

4. The 29ers.

Speaking of live music, you can catch my favorite local band at 118 North from time to time. The 29ers are a great group of guys who are incredibly talented—and some of the nicest humans I know.

5. The Edge Fitness Club.

This is my go-to for daily workouts. It’s a large, clean facility and offers a lot to its members. I frequent the Wayne location, but you can also find them in Media. 706 W. Lancaster Ave., Wayne, (484) 588-0305.
