The last wave of summer is here, and Saxbys Coffee and Visit Philly want to reward its caffeine-loving locals with the best cooldown of them all—free cold-brew iced coffee. The two are teaming up this month to offer complimentary icy coffee every Friday for all of August.

Thanks to Visit Philly’s latest Phillyosophy marketing initiative, you can snag your share of Saxbys 12-oz. Cold Brew Iced Coffee for free for all five Fridays in August. All you have to do is ask.
What’s So Special About Saxbys Iced Coffee?
Saxbys, which was founded in Philadelphia in 2005 and now hosts 30 cafes (in Philly, D.C., Dallas, etc.), specializes in the cold-brew method to concoct their icy java, which involves steeping coffee grounds in cold-filtered water to slowly coax flavor from the beans. The end result? A smooth, sweet beverage that’s perfect for black coffee purists, cream and sugar fanatics, and everyone in between.
Saxbys locations along the Main Line, including in Ardmore (120 Coulter Ave.) and Haverford (345 Lancaster Ave.), will host the free iced coffee promotion. Additional Saxbys stops in Haddonfield, Exton Square Mall, Lansdale, University of Penn, Rittenhouse, Liberty Place, 30th Street Station, Temple and the Plymouth Meeting Mall will also be slinging your freebies.
