Plus, Jasmine & Orchid gets a facelift.

Coming Soon …

This month marks a year since Macy’s exited Suburban Square, leaving Main Line shoppers buzzing over what would move into the historic five-story Art Deco building. Well, wait no more: West Elm will occupy part of it, giving us a furniture store at the Square, while the majority of the levels will be transformed into the upscale health club, Life Time Fitness. Both are set to open by mid-fall. And look for Drybar in late summer and Anthony Vince Nail Spa in early 2018 at the Square.

It’s been more than six months since Jade Okere changed the name of her four-year-old Wayne boutique from Jade’s Closet to Jasmin & Orchid, due to a trademark issue. Turns out, the whole thing sparked the desire to alter other aspects of the intimate shop, including a greater focus on everyday casual looks versus occasion dressing. Okere is also dedicating more space to shoes—we’re loving the Manebí espadrilles and the Sanchita sandals—and purses from designer brands like Stockholm-based Little Liffner.
