The Pennsylvania Convention Center doubles as the most romantic city in the world March 6-13, brimming with an array of magnifique horticultural masterpieces inspired by Paris’ Jardin des Tuileries.
Green thumbs of all skill levels can participate in the more than 150 free gardening presentations held throughout the week. Things kick off at noon March 6 with “Cool Containers: Exciting Plant Combinations for Early Spring,” presented by Jonathan Wright of Chanticleer Garden in Wayne. “Designing a Sustainable Garden,” hosted by Wayne-based landscape architect Jonathan Alderson, follows at 1 p.m.
Kids of all ages will enjoy the craft projects, puppet shows and other fun in the Family Lounge, while the Flower Show Marketplace jumpstarts your spring. Proceeds support the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and its Philadelphia Green program.
