With the arrival of fall around the Main Line comes a plethora of events and activities that lean into the season. Of course, the return of food festivals during the cooler months is one of the most exciting local happenings for food enthusiasts. Thankfully, there are plenty in the Main Line region to keep in mind throughout the upcoming months. Here are the must-attend fall food festivals to add to your calendar.

Radnor Fall Festival

Radnor

The Wayne Business Association sponsors this annual celebration, which transforms West Avenue and North Wayne Avenue into a fun-filled amusement park for all ages with street performances by regional bands and dance schools, face painting, carnival rides and tons of local food vendors.

South Philly Sausage Fest

September 23
Philadelphia

Sausage Fest is a live music festival with an autumnal craft beer and sausage theme that includes 10 restaurants, 10 regional craft breweries, eight live music performances, arts and crafts vendors and a play area for children. This festival takes place between Broad and 15th Street at West Passyunk Avenue.

Oktoberfest at Locust Lane

October 7
Malvern

On Saturday, October 7 starting at 1 p.m., celebrate Oktoberfest 2023 at Locust Lane. The parking area will be closed off for a full day of outdoor festivities. Enjoy German beer at Locust Lane, including the 2023 Oktoberfest, Foster Ave Carvery Bavarian cuisine specials, a beer garden, games, prizes and good fun. Plus, attendees can score a free gift if they arrive in traditional German attire.

OctoberFeast at Peddler’s Village

October 14-15
New Hope

Enjoy a weekend filled with live entertainment, a beer garden, food trucks and kid-friendly activities. Through October 31, grab your stein and explore the 44th Annual Scarecrows in the Village, which features enormous scarecrows. On Saturday, the stores in Peddler’s Village will stay open until 8 p.m.

Philly TASTE! Festival of Food, Wine & Spirits

October 20 – 21

On Saturday, October 28 at 2 p.m., make plans to attend Harriton’s annual Heirloom Apple Tasting & Baking Contest with your friends and neighbors. Following a brief introduction, participants will have the chance to try some of the region’s heirloom apple varieties. While supplies last, you can also buy apples, fresh cider and entries from baking competitions by the slice or serving.
