EatNic has Closed in Paoli

The farm-to-table eatery founded by John Scardapane closed last week.

The ambitious endeavor that was EatNic Urban Farmhouse Eatery, founded by local entrepreneur John Scardapane, is no more. The enthusiastic Saladworks founder, who recently closed his creative breakfast-lunch-dinner spot, cited both health concerns along with too much area competition as his main reasons for abruptly shuttering.

EatNic, which opened in November 2016, offered an innovative concept: Scratch-made American fare with a farm-to-table focus. EatNic gained notability for its quick and creative breakfasts and lunches that were easy on the wallet and artfully prepared. BYOB dinners were relaxing amid a serene farmhouse setting of handsome woods, lustrous copper lighting fixtures, and a welcoming foyer awash in polished river stones.

As of now, there are no plans to re-establish the venue as a future restaurant concept.
