Eat and Drink for a Good Cause at Yangming

Benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand in Bryn Mawr.

In an effort to raise funds and awareness for the fight against childhood cancer, the Albertson Cooking School will host two events in January to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. The events, taking place on Wednesday, Jan. 14 and Sunday, Jan. 25 at Bryn Mawr’s famed Yangming, will each offer attendees a unique and delicious experience.

On Jan. 14 from 6:30–9 p.m., enjoy a dinner featuring a specially-created menu highlighting the sophisticated flavors of Hong Kong. Begin your evening with a champagne reception with butlered hors d’oeuvres followed by a five-course meal paired with wine. Tickets are available for $115 per person, with all proceeds benefiting Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.

Next, on Jan. 25 from 3–5:15 p.m., Yangming will play host to Chef Ann-Michelle Albertson of igourmet cheeses and Robert Peters of PA Wine & Spirits for a wine and cheese seminar. The afternoon fundraiser will feature six exceptional cheeses paired with wines. Tickets are $55 per person, and attendees will have an opportunity to purchase cheese to take home.
