“Dr. Mehra has been instrumental in changing the face of psychiatric care at Brandywine Hospital’s inpatient facility and in Chester County. He is a strong advocate for some of the most stigmatized, neglected and misunderstood people in our community. He made numerous procedural changes that resulted in faster admission decisions and reduced waiting times in the emergency department. He meets with those in need, from patients with dementia to family members who don’t understand what is happening to their loved one. Collaborating with patients and their families to establish and achieve their goals is the hallmark of Dr. Mehra’s practice.”
