Don't Miss This: Maido's Annual Curry Festival

The festival takes place in Ardmore on Saturday, Nov. 28 from 1-3 p.m.

Maido’s is putting a twist on traditional curry, by adding a Japanese flair. The new Ardmore location (5 E. Lancaster Ave.) will play host to its annual Curry Festival, which takes place on Saturday, Nov. 28, from 1–3 p.m.

Japanese curry is quite different from Indian curry, and no two Japanese curries are the same. Guests will have the chance to taste these unique flavorings, including Maido’s outstanding house curry, as well as customers’ own creations. More than a dozen pre-registered entrants will have a shot at $350 in prizes for making the best curry. The public is invited to taste them all, and for free, during the festival, and pick their favorites.
