Dogma Grooming Salon and Spa
has entered into a unique partnership with Main Line Animal Rescue to prep its dogs for adoption day. And the results have been nothing less than stunning. “It’s an unbelievable experience to watch,” says Dogma owner Linda Barsamian. “And what’s even more incredible is how their personalities are also transformed.”

Sarah Garito and has been making dogs look their best for 24 years—five of those with Dogma Grooming Salon and Spa. She and MLAR volunteer Margaret McAllister had their work cut out for them with Danny Dinmont. A two-year-old Dinmont/Shih Tzu mix, Danny is one of the estimated 30,000 dogs and cats surrendered to Philadelphia’s animal-control facility annually.

When adopted, Dogma and The Bark Avenue Boutique give each MLAR dog a free grooming and a $50 gift certificate. Bark Avenue also donates collars and leashes.
