Restaurant Week Is Back

Two restaurant weeks, actually. Sept. 12-16 and 18-23, more than 100 restaurants in Center City are once again luring hungry diners with $20 three-course lunch menus and $35 three-course dinners. Check centercityphila.org for participating restaurants and info about discounted parking.

Branching Out

Sang Kee in Wynnewood always seems to be busting at the seams, so we’re glad Win and Sutida Somboonsong have joined Sang Kee’s Michael Chow in debuting Sang Kee Noodle Bowl in Newtown Square (at the old Parker’s Prime location). Open just a few weeks, it features all the favorites from Chow’s other locations.

Fun on a Stick

The site of the former Brick Bar in Rosemont is now home to the Kebob Factory, a casual lunch and dinner spot offering almost 20 types of kebobs, along with Indian favorites.

Embracing Change

Talula’s Table in Kennett Square welcomes yet another new executive chef. Chris D’Ambro replaces Matt Moon, who’d taken over for Bryan Sikora after his departure. D’Ambro is actually the former chef at owner Aimee Olexy’s newest restaurant, Talula’s Garden in Center City.
