Chef and restaurateur Steve DiFillippo is bringing the newest Davio’s to King of Prussia’s Town Center. The highly anticipated restaurant will open on Oct. 21, and will be the newest addition to the Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse restaurant family, which currently has locations in Philadelphia, Boston, New York City and Atlanta.
The 10,000-square-foot restaurant opens under the leadership of general manager Tumoor Haye and executive chef Ted Iwachiw. Davio’s King of Prussia will serve an array of carefully sourced and seasonally inspired Northern Italian cuisine featuring homemade pasta, fresh seafood and salads, as well as prime aged Brandt beef.
“I’ve always wanted to open a restaurant in King of Prussia. I just love the area. It’s always been a dream of mine to have a Davio’s out here,” DiFillippo says. “It’s very exciting and we can’t wait for our guests who have enjoyed Davio’s in Center City for 17 years now to experience our newest location.”
The beverage menu includes a vast selection of over 200 wines from Italy, France and the United States. Guests can choose from 12 wines by the glass, carefully crafted seasonal cocktails and Italian craft beer selections.
Designed by Restaurant Design Group’s Steve Todisco, the 250-seat restaurant is housed in a state-of-the-art outdoor retail and entertainment development. Similar to other Davio’s restaurants, the space is elegant and includes staunch columns and high ceilings complemented by warm wood tones. The main dining room also features a transparent wine room replete with glass walls and mahogany wine racks to display the wine collection. The Davio’s Chef’s Table has seating for 11 guests, providing front-row seats to the open kitchen concept.
Brunch will be served Sunday from 11 a.m.–3 p.m.; lunch is served Sunday–Saturday from 11:30 a.m.–3 p.m.; dinner is served Sunday–Thursday 5–10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5–11 p.m. The lounge area is open Sunday–Thursday until 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday until midnight.
