Pretty As a Picture
If you have a wall in your home that remains bare because you can’t seem to figure out what belongs there, you’re not alone. Michele Gifford is forever helping clients deal with what she calls “empty-wall syndrome”—and she recently unveiled the new Visualities computer program to help. Gifford comes to the home and takes a digital photo of the space before offering options for artwork—samples of which are superimposed on the “before” image. “It takes the guesswork out of it,” she says.
Options might include pet portraiture, custom-designed photo art or family photos commissioned by Gifford. She also has a partnership with Strodes Mill Gallery in West Chester, which has limited-edition prints by Chester County artists.
Once a choice is made, Gifford takes care of everything from framing to installation.
