Lemonade gets a grown-up twist at Avenue Kitchen this summer with the introduction of a fresh seasonal cocktail: Grilled Lemonade. A little bit sweet and a little bit tangy, the refreshing concoction takes two of summer’s favorite pastimes (lemonade and grilling) to a whole new level with bourbon (or vodka), grilled lemon, honey and rosemary simple syrup and fresh lemon juice.
Revive yourself after a long day’s work and enjoy this upscale sip ($10) during happy hour. The cocktail also pairs perfectly with summer-infused fare on Avenue Kitchen’s menu, like tuna tartare and crab-stuffed zucchini appetizers, crispy goat cheese and baby arugula salad, avocado BLT and Southern-fried orange chicken.
Bonus: lemon juice has several health benefits, such as reducing strokes and lowering body temperature. Staying calm and cool never tasted so good!
