Get your fill of cheesy goodness at the annual Chester County Mac & Cheese Cookoff. The event takes place on Sunday, June 4, from 12–4 p.m. at Downingtown’s Kerr Park.
Local restaurants, businesses and neighborhood cooks will compete against one another for the title of “Best Mac-n-Cheese in Chester County,” judged by both attendees and an official panel. The community will vote for People’s Choice and Kids’ Choice winners, with judges weighing in on each dish, as well.
The yearly event, coordinated by the Rotary Club of Thorndale-Downingtown, raises funds for local and global charities. This year, proceeds will be donated to the Chester County Fund for Women and Girls. There will also be an art raffle, with proceeds going to Lord’s Pantry, kids’ activities, a beer garden and live, local music.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids ages 6–12.
