Celebrate National Apple Month with the Silverspoon

Head to this Wayne restaurant for a five-course tasting menu focused around your favorite fall fruit.

Chef Tim Courtney of Wayne’s The Silverspoon is going wild about apples this month with a five-course tasting menu starring several varieties of the fall fruit. The menu will also puts the spotlight on other autumn favorites, including butternut squash bisque, warm chicory salad and sweet bread pudding. Spy the full menu below:

Silverspoon Hors d’Oeuvre

Whipped Cherry Grove brie, rosemary, black pepper, apple, honey

Soup

Butternut squash bisque, ginger, Jonathon apple, sage, nutmeg, crispy apple skins

Salad

Warm chicory salad, bacon, Keswick Farms blue cheese, pickled Honeycrisp apples, crispy fingerling potato, cider-bacon vinaigrette

The Wild About Apples tasting menu will be offered for a limited time from Tuesday, Oct. 20, through Thursday, October 22, and the following Tuesday through Thursday, October 27–29. The five-course menu is $50 per person. Silverspoon’s regular a la carte menu will also be served. Reservations are recommended and can be made at (610) 688-7646 or online via OpenTable.
