PILLOW TALK: As a Malvern resident for more than three years, I became quite a fan of the Flying Pig, King Street’s beloved corner bar, whose adorable winged bovines always caught my eye. So when I came across a pillow with a black- and-white image of a pig that appeared to be flying right toward me, I knew I had to have it.
Turns out it was part of a collection of pillows and totes created by Bucks County artists Eric Fausnacht and Christopher Kline. The duo has a mutual affection for graphic design and animals. They screen-print their images onto durable canvas-covered pillows available in three sizes. After just 18 months, the Eric and Christopher line is in more than 200 stores across the country. “They’re lighthearted images that make people feel good,” says Fausnacht. “Buyers want to make these pillows part of their décor.”
Look for the pillows at UpHome in Malvern, Scout & Annie in Kennett Square and Antiques at Silver Bell Farm in Glenmoore. “Every image has such personality,” Kline says. “They’re not gimmicky—they’re just fun.”
