Brittany Kaiser and Isak Maybury’s Loch Nairn Wedding

Share

Brittany Kaiser and Isak Maybury first met in 2013 while volunteering at church, where they soon developed a friendship—and secret crushes for one another. After two years, Isak professed his feelings for Brittany in 2015, just a few days before Valentine’s Day. Two years later, on the anniversary of their first date, the pair went for a hike. Isak proposed. “I knew it was our anniversary, but I wasn’t expecting it,” says Brittany.

Knowing they wanted to get married in September but not wanting to wait, Brittany and Isak decided to tie the knot just seven months after getting engaged. They had two ceremonies, one celebrating Isak’s Ethiopian heritage.

Subtle Beauty: “When I was a little girl I loved baby’s breath, and I wanted something really simple for my bridesmaids.”

Triple Threat: “I wanted the cake to be simple but still have some design. We had dark chocolate for one layer and then the other two layers were berries and buttercream.”

In the Details: “I love all things sparkly and glittery.”
