Popular Havertown haunt Brick & Brew has finally opened its doors in Media in the former location of the long-standing Plumstead Inn. Known for its extensive craft beer offerings, comfort food menu, inventive weekly specials, clever cocktails and brick oven pizzas, Brick & Brew will be a welcome addition to State Street.
As expected by the name, the brick oven pizzas stand out on the menu, with creative pies like short rib with caramelized onion, gorgonzola, mozzarella and fresh horseradish and the sprout topped with Brussels sprouts, roasted garlic spread, fingerling potatoes, feta cheese, mozzarella cheese, pancetta and a balsamic glaze.
Don’t miss sipping on house-created cocktails including the Capone, a spicy margarita with pineapple/blood orange/habanero-infused tequila, or the nod to its predecessor, the Plumstead, made with Kraken Black Spiced Rum, homemade Falernum No. 9, Aperol and fresh lime and pineapple juices.
