VanCleve Collection Holds a Shopping Fundraiser for the American Red Cross

In anticipation of the 2012 Red Ball, the Paoli boutique is discounting all its merchandise, including formal wear, for select hours on Jan. 26.

Stacy Keibler could have picked any dress in the fashion universe to wear to the Golden Globes this year—and she certainly chose well with a glamorous red Valentino column gown. Word is, her honey, George Clooney, gave prior approval to wear red on the red carpet, too. Valentino and Clooney—some girls have all the luck.

Keibler’s hot number got me thinking about what fabulous red frocks we’ll see during this year’s Red Ball on March 10 at Philadelphia’s Please Touch Museum. In anticipation of the American Red Cross Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter’s annual fundraising gala, Paoli’s VanCleve Collection is hosting a shopping fundraiser on Jan. 26  from 4 to 8 p.m. Attendees will receive a significant 25-percent discount on all merchandise, including formal wear, and a portion of the sales will benefit the Red Cross.

“Black-tie galas are our specialty,” says owner Deborah VanCleve. “We have a stunning collection of designer gowns, accessories—from jewelry, shoes and wraps to complete the look—plus an on-site seamstress to make it prêt-à-porter.”
