Q&A: Style Camp Co-Owner Natalie Rhoda

The Chestnut Hill fashionista shares her personal style.

Personal style: Elegant but cool. Most things I’m drawn to are French. It’s so simple, but the fit and quality of fabric and the little details are perfect.

Favorite designers: Celine, because I love their relaxed elegance and color palette. Givenchy is a dream designer, and I love The Row, too. I also really like Older Brother, a new line for us.

Fall fashion favorites: I wear a lot of jeans and pants. I love wide-leg, slightly cropped pants that you can pair with a great boot. We have a lot of great chunky sweaters coming in. There’s a really cool cape jacket from M. Patmos that I’m looking forward to getting in.

How her boutique is different from the rest: It’s how we put everything together. We have a mix of some classic pieces and more cutting-edge city styles. But we mix them together in an approachable and interesting way.

Style icons: Alexa Chung and Garance Doré. My mom, Bitsy Rhoda, who is also my business partner.

Go-to casual outfit on a Saturday: For the summer, I have linen overalls and a denim jumpsuit. My favorite linen overalls are from Artemesia Handmade. I also have a really cool Imogene + Willie denim coverall.

Go-to casual outfit for a Saturday night out: Jeans, an Equipment silk blouse, some jewelry, a pair of black leather booties and a hot pink lip.

Recent addition to her closet: A dress for my brother’s wedding — floor-length, long-sleeve printed chiffon by Haute Hippie.

Favorite item in her closet: A jumpsuit from Self-Portrait. My love for fashion started at age 5 with a salmon-colored jumpsuit.
