On March 10, Lilly Pulitzer is rolling out the “pink carpet” for the grand opening of its new Suburban Square boutique. Fashion director Janie Schoenborn—yes, she has a dream job—gave me a sneak peek of the space a few weeks ago. She was überexcited about her design team’s plans for the store. Now that I’ve seen the “before,” I can’t wait to see the “after.” (I’m especially excited for the Main Line-inspired dressing room!)
The celebration will include refreshments, photo ops, live painting from the print team, exclusive gifts with your purchase, and, of course, plenty of shopping. The first 50 people will receive a preppy gift bag, so it’s not fashionable to be late. The best part: Ten percent of the event’s proceeds go to Libby’s Locomotion and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
