Believe it or not, prom dress shopping season is officially upon us. If you’re thinking that it seems too early (or too cold and dreary) to start shopping for a red carpet-worthy, sparkly number that won’t be worn for a couple months, it’s definitely not. Just ask any female high school junior or senior and she’ll tell you that it’s actually never too early to start the search and stake a claim on the perfect frock for the storied springtime tradition.
This Sunday, Feb. 10, from noon-4 p.m., G-Lizzy by Gabrielle Boutique in Bala Cynwyd is hosting a prom fashion preview where girls can get a sneak peek of the hottest trends in prom gowns and accessories. Another bonus is that the boutique has partnered with makeup artist extraordinaire Ursula Augustine of Ursula’s About Phace Makeup Studio in Philadelphia to give age-appropriate makeup consultations to all guests. Sounds like the ideal girly afternoon to us.
