Azie on Main's Plum Cosmopolitan and the Cheese Plate at Styer's Garden Café

Gorgeous cheese aside, the rustic accents on the Styer’s presentation are whimsical, delightful and local. If it’s a more dramatic flair you seek, the cocktail fits the bill perfectly.

The Sip

Azie on Main has made fanatics out of us with its Plum Cosmopolitan. A dark and stormy shade of purple, this tart and crisp, easy-sipping medley of Pearl Plum Vodka, triple sec and cranberry juice arrives accented by hard-to-find bayberries. $11. 789 E. Lancaster Ave., Villanova; (610) 527-5700, azieonmain.com.

The Bite

Styer’s Garden Café at Terrain boasts the area’s blue-ribbon cheese plate. Rustically arranged atop a cross-section of a tree trunk, an ever-changing quintet of domestics is accompanied by house-made pickles and preserves, a hunk of local honeycomb, and a mound of crispy crostini. $18. 914 Baltimore Pike, Glen Mills; (610) 459-2400, ext. 5, shopterrain.com.
