The Main Line region will be getting a new event space this spring. On Tuesday, Terrain Events announced that its latest small-format venue, dubbed The Atrium at Terrain Gardens, will open on May 1 in Devon. In fact, Terrain already has a full slate of events planned for the month, from baby showers to bridal showers, graduation events, rehearsal dinners and milestone birthday celebrations.
Coming from the same designers behind the three Terrain locations in Glen Mills, Devon and Doylestown, The Atrium will feature skylights, farmhouse-inspired furnishings and a garden-centric patio at the heart of the Devon Yards Terrain complex.
“We are thrilled to reveal our renderings of The Atrium at Terrain Gardens,” says Adam DeAngelo, Executive Director of Menus & Venues at URBN, the parent company behind Terrain, Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie and more. “The venue epitomizes the seamlessness of indoor and outdoor celebrations that Terrain is known for. We have officially began accepting bookings for the new venue and can’t wait to begin welcoming guests this spring.”
The venue boasts over 1,000 square feet of dining and entertainment space with a patio encompassing 890 square feet. While Terrain Garden at Devon Yard is open year-round for events hosting up to 140 guests, The Atrium is built for life’s more intimate celebrations. The new space will be open during the warmer months and accommodate parties of up to 66 seated or 80 standing guests.
Food and Dining
Like the adjacent Terrain Cafe, catering for events at The Atrium will be handled by Terrain and use locally grown ingredients whenever possible. With culinary director Steve Linneman at the helm, the in-house catering team will prepare seasonally inspired menus influenced by local harvests from farmers and growers around the region.
From the food to the decor, both of which are intricately designed for an exquisite experience, events at The Atrium will be rustic and charming, yet glamorous with a hint of modernity.
