One of our favorite local spots to grab a cup of coffee and a warm pastry, Narberth’s Art of Bread, has closed its doors.
The patisserie originally opened in June 2011 by Georges Perrier of Le Bec Fin fame. In 2013, it was taken over by Amin Bitar of Bitar’s Middle Eastern in Philly. Art of Bread served its last croque monsieur over the holiday season before bidding adieu.
Fans can hold out hope for getting a taste of Art of Bread again soon, though. Bitar is currently looking for new space to better accommodate his wholesale operation. Stay tuned to the Main Course for updates.
