Ardmore Gains Another BYOB with Pala’a Latin American Seafood

The 25-seat restaurant is yet another addition to the town’s diverse dining scene.

The Ardmore dining scene continues its diverse metamorphosis with the addition of Pala’a Latin American Seafood. At this colorful new BYOB, chef/owner Ivan Brcek offers innovative regional seafood specialties with salmon, haddock and shrimp, along with various beef and chicken options.

Crispy empanadas, sandwich-like patacones made of fried plantains, and soft stuffed arepas anchor the menu. Crunchy corn tortillas offest the tangy citrus marinades that flavor tender fish ceviches and stacked tartares. Italian sorbets, an exotic bomba tartufo, and housemade lime-and-sugar-cane papelón juice punctuate any meal.

The food isn’t all that gives off good vibes Pala’a. The 25-seat space swings with Latin music, while azure-and-chartreuse tiled tables, vivid ocean-themed murals, and ethnic flags and banners accent the décor.
