Adoptable Animal of the Week: Rachel

This two-year-old Rottweiler mix is looking for a home.

Spayed two-year-old Rottweiler mix Rachel has a smile that can’t help but be mirrored on human’s faces. Earlier this year, she was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and in spite of dietary supplements and physical therapy, her pain was preventing her from living life to the fullest. Rachel has undergone successful surgery on both hips and kept her positive attitude. Now, she is working hard in physical therapy to help strengthen her muscles. In no time, she will be back to regular outdoor activities, like going for walks, laying outside on a sunny day and playing with sticks. This social girl can’t wait to gain her strength back so she can play with other pups, too. Rachel is house- and crate-trained and would do best in a home without children or cats.
