A Message from Our Parade Producers, Under the Sun Productions Inc.

Hello and Happy Holidays!

As members of the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce, we’ve been proud to serve as volunteer parade producers for 10 years (2006-2015). As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, it’s the perfect time to reflect on why Under the Sun Productions Inc. became involved as producers in 2006. The initial intent was to expose this great town to as many people as possible, and to have every local business involved in the parade.

Since that time, the event has received great exposure. It was named one of the top 10 places to see the arrival of Santa by USA Today, and it has received substantial recognition through radio and television. The greatest leap has been QVC taking this event and sharing it with the entire nation. It’s unbelievable to think that our parade is now viewed coast to coast. It comes to the living rooms of people who never knew anything about West Chester. They do now!

That being said, we strongly encourage each and every business and corporation to get involved with the Greater West Chester Chamber Christmas Celebration. During the holiday season, it’s our duty to bring smiles to young and old, and to fill the hearts of all with love, joy and a sparkle of light. And what better way to do that than with a free public event like the parade. Without support from businesses and corporations, the holiday season in West Chester would be dark.

Just like Santa Claus, our plans for this year’s parade started before last year’s event ended. We’ve been working tirelessly to make this production our most exciting yet. So let us all march to the beat of a proud drum and realize the gift we have in West Chester and the potential that exists for further business and community support.

From our family to yours, we wish you a wonderful holiday season. Enjoy the parade!
