Known for its epic weeklong celebration of American independence in the former capital of the nation, Philadelphia will again play host to Wawa’s Welcome America. The festival includes events such as Free Museum Day, block parties and multiple fireworks shows.

Downingtown’s annual Fourth of July celebration, Good Neighbor Day, will include races, live music, and a wife-carrying contest during the day and conclude with fireworks at dusk. Proceeds from all activities go to rescue squads within the school district.
