Curious which Pennsylvania-based breweries came back to the Keystone state victorious? Here’s a look a the short-listed champions.
- Sly Fox Brewing Co. of Pottstown and Phoenixville scored a silver medal for its Grisette in the Belgian- and French-Style Ale category.
- Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant of Chestnut Hill nabbed a silver medal for its Cannibal in the Belgian-Style Strong Specialty Ale category.
- Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant of Lancaster claimed a silver medal for its repeat-winning Russian Imperial Stout in the Imperial Stout category.
- Saucony Creek Brewing Co. of Kutztown won a gold medal for its xReserve Ale 05-15 Peach and Ginger Saison in the Belgian-Style Fruit Beer category.
- Stoudts Brewing Co. of Adamstown was awarded a silver medal for its Oktoberfest in the Vienna-Style Lager category.
Additional regional medal-winners included Mispillion River Brewing of Delaware for its chocolate-infused Wonka Bar; Flying Fish Brewing Co. of New Jersey for its ESB, Red Fish; and Spellbound Brewing, also of New Jersey, for its Palo Santo Aged Porter. Three additional Pennsylvania breweries went home winners, as well, including Marley’s Brewery & Grille of Bloomsburg, Susquehanna Brewing Co. of Pittston and Church Brew Works of Pittsburgh.
