5 Allagash Beers to Try at Black Powder Tavern

Four-course beer dinner includes spicy offerings.

The menu pairings showcase Black Powder Tavern’s inventive take on gastropub offerings served alongside Allagash’s standout beers. Enjoy a welcome taste of Allagash White, a refreshing interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer spiced with coriander and orange peel and finish the evening with the highly regarded Curieux, a bourbon barrel-aged version of their Tripel that is filled with notes of coconut, vanilla and hints of bourbon.
