2 New Victory Beer-Infused Ice Cream Flavors Hit the Market

Mix your two favorite things into one sweet treat at Victory Brewing Company.

Victory Brewing Company is no stranger to the ice cream-making game. But, just in time for spring 2015, they’ve decided to enhance their ice cream roster with the addition of two new flavors to the mix.

This season, scoop into the following new flavors: Belgian Brûlée and Strawberry Love. The Belgian Brûlée variety marries the rich, silky flavors of crème brûlée with subtle notes of Victory’s V Twelve (quadrupel) wort. Flavors of brown sugar and the salty crunch of almonds boost this mighty concoction. The Strawberry Love release, built with a dreamy vanilla base, mingles Victory’s crowd-pleasing seasonal, Summer Love Ale, with strawberries and angel food cake chunks. This icy treat is already in the running of becoming our trophy dessert of summer 2015.

The two new Victory Ice Creams join an existing flavor lineup that includes:

• Hopped-Up Devil — cayenne and cinnamon ice cream made from HopDevil wort, studded with chocolate-covered coffee beans
Triple Monkey — banana ice cream made from Golden Monkey wort, swirled with peanuts and caramel
Storm Drop — chocolate ice cream made with the wort from Storm King Stout, accented with chocolate malted milk balls

Kids can enjoy Victory Ice Cream, too. It’s crafted with Victory’s wort only, the non-alcoholic liquid that results from the brewing of malted barley and water that’s used to create the craft brewer’s beer brands. The end result? An ice cream series that is flavor-packed while also reminiscent of Victory beer—without the beer buzz.

“We love ice cream almost as much as we love beer so it’s only natural to want to challenge ourselves creatively with our favorite dessert,” says Victory’s President and Brewmaster, Bill Covaleski. “We believe that the fans of V Twelve and Summer Love Ale will certainly appreciate our efforts and ingenuity. We are expanding the range and appeal of beer flavors.”

Victory Brewing Company is available by the pint at $6.49 a piece, in stock at Kimberton Whole Foods, select ShopRite stores and the Victory retail outlet in Downingtown (address below). Additional retail outlets will be added as production capacity permits.
