Young Memorial Park and Swimming Pool in Ardmore includes basketball and tennis courts, softball and baseball fields, a children’s playground, shuffleboard, and barbecue grills set up for a family barbeque or a relaxing day in sun. The Pocono’s are an area favorite when it comes to winter escapades, but that doesn’t mean it closes up during the summer. The Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark has a transparent roof that allows visitors to enjoy the sun without battling the temperatures. The park boasts seven pools, 13 slides and the Storm Chaser, the longest indoor watercoaster in the country.

For the most part, this club is only open to members, however it offers some openings for non-members and non-area college students home for the summer. Outdoors, guests can find the Aquatic Resort Complex, which features two pools, a slide, lazy river, and plenty of spots for lounging.

Plymouth Swim Club
This 12-acre swim club includes three pools, a children’s playground, four tennis courts, basketball and volleyball courts, a baseball diamond, Ping-Pong tables, and outdoor grills, tables and benches. The club is membership-based, but they have great deals including weekend-only and $150 discount for new families looking to cool off.
