Ridley Creek State Park offers lots of scenic views. Wander through one of the many trails, or meander around the historic mansion. Those feeling adventurous can even go horseback riding.

11:30 a.m. – Discover the Pennsylvania Veteran’s Museum

Experience a piece of history at the Pennsylvania Veteran’s Museum, which features exhibits on World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. Stop by the “Women in Military” exhibit to read about the powerful women who have served.

House Restaurant makes you feel at home with its warm atmosphere and friendly servers. However, their paninis are far more elaborate than anything you would dream up in your own kitchen. The “slugger” features barbecue braised pork, kimchi slaw and melted white cheddar, and the “king khan” is made with spicy chicken salad, caramelized onions, gorgonzola and a spicy sauce.
