Wyebrook Farm Dinner a Feast For Locavores

PLUS: Conshohocken Restaurant week features 15 restaurants with $20 and $35 prix fixe menus.

This Saturday, Sept. 22 at Wyebrook Farm, a 355-acre sustainable farm in Chester County, farmer Dean Carlson is hosting the first ever Wyebrook Farm Dinner with Philly’s Pub & Kitchen chef Jonathan Adams. The meal will begin at 7 p.m. on the farm’s grounds with passed hors d’oeuvres and complimentary champagne. Immediately following, guests will be escorted to the 18th-century refurbished barn for a five-course meal prepared with foods grown and raised on the farm. Guests will be seated at long, reclaimed wood community tables lit by candlelight. Chef Adams’ menu looks absolutely delicious, and don’t forget to bring some bottles of wine to share and enjoy with the meal. The cost is $80 per person and reservations can be made by e-mailing info@wyebrookfarm.com.

This week also marks Conshohocken Restaurant Week. More than 15 restaurants are offering $20 and/or $35 prix fixe menus through Sunday, Sept. 23. A few of the participating restaurants include Blackfish, Stella Blu, Isabella and Pepperoncini.
