Kick off 2023 in your jammies at White Dog Cafe’s annual New Year’s Day Pajama Brunch, happening at each of the restaurant’s four locations.
Welcome 2023 with the 34th annual New Year’s Day Pajama Brunch at White Dog Cafe. Guests young and old are invited to come to brunch in what they wore to bed at any White Dog location. Even team members will don pjs to serve the first meal of the New Year.
“Where else can you go to brunch on New Year’s Day in your pajamas and have it be not only acceptable but encouraged?” White Dog and Fearless Restaurants owner Marty Grims commented in a press release.
The a la carte menu has all the traditional favorites, served with a twist. Whether you’re enjoying a handcrafted seasonal mocktail, a classic cage-free white omelet or the apple cinnamon sugar-dusted donut bites, you’ll find something to savor for your post-New Year’s Eve celebration. The brunch is available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and reservations are encouraged.
Best of all, there’s every reason to enjoy the engaging décor and inspired hospitality on New Year’s Day a la jammies and slippers at this Main Line favorite. Jennifer Lyn Robinson, Esq., founder and CEO of Purposeful Networking, has been going for years and couldn’t agree more. She considers White Dog’s New Year’s Day Pajama Brunch the perfect start to the year. “It’s such a fun way to kick off the year!” she told Main Line Today. “This year, I’m bringing a bunch of my girlfriends.”
As one of the first farm-to-fork restaurants in the area, with White Dog University City celebrating 40 years in January and a Chester Springs location coming soon, the menu sources ingredients from purveyors no more than 50 miles from the restaurants. “White Dog is wonderful to work with and was an early customer of ours. They have always supported the local farmers,” notes Birchrun Hills co-owner Sue Miller.
Birchrun Blue or Fat Cat cheeses by Birchrun Hills Farm in Chester Springs often show up on a White Dog cheese plate. Aside from their ability to soothe a craving on New Year’s Day, both are made from the highest quality milk of happy cows at Birchrun Hills, according to Miller. She explains that cheese is an agricultural product because high-quality cheese starts with the soil and how crops are cultivated. “People don’t often think of it that way, and White Dog does a wonderful job showcasing what we do,” says Miller.
Pajamas make the dining experience that much more cozy.
