Wawa and 2SP Brewing Have Teamed up to Create Limited Edition Coffee Beer

Winter Reserve Coffee Stout will be launched Dec. 6 with a tasting event in Chadds Ford.

It’s official—Wawa is entering the craft beer game. The convenience store chain recently announced that they are partnering with 2SP Brewing Company to produce a seasonal, coffee-flavored beer. Scheduled to launch on Dec. 6, Winter Reserve Coffee Stout will combine 2SP’s oatmeal stout with Wawa’s new limited edition Winter Blend coffee.

According to a press release from Wawa, consumers can expect sweet clove, dark chocolate and graham cracker flavors in the new brew, which was created by Bob Barrar, the award-winning head brewer at the Aston-based 2SP. Just 1,000 cases will be available for purchase.

Get a taste of the new brew on Dec. 6 at the Wawa on Naamans Road in Chadds Ford. From 4-6 p.m., customers can try complimentary samples of Winter Reserve Coffee Stout and meet Barrar. Fifty cases will also be available for purchase on a first come, first serve basis, with a limit of two four-packs per person. Each four pack is $12.99.
